Matterport Pro3 issue: Screen Blank/camera stays on camera warming up

9 monthsVanaman06 (85): @MatterFix the camera did start working again after many battery changes and possibly warming it up. do you know if the issue continues to happen or it’s usually a one off issue? I have had the Pro3 for almost 2 years and have never had an issue until yesterday. I have used the camera in the winter and in the blazing heat without any issues before.

9 monthsVanaman06 (85): What I would do is engineer an arm that connected to a tripod like pictured above that goes down and connects the camera upright. Not sure how well it will scan in a hole since you won’t get much data up and down having the walls so close. Do you find Matterport + Insta360 X3 + iPhone 14 Pro Max to be "glitchy"?

10 monthstmckay615 (4): I just got an Insta360 x3. Has anyone found it to be "glitchy" with the Matterport 3D software? I have an iphone 14 Pro Max and haven't had a problem with other things attached to it. It scans and puts the scans in the wrong room. I'm in the process of seeing it it develops okay, just wondering if that was a problem. Also, it hangs up when it's scanning and I have to either turn the camera off or my iphone off and restart.

10 monthsTaylorC (13): OK,I was able to get unstuck. I had to remove the middle post from the tripod, remove the rubber cap at the bottom of the middle post to see inside the post. There is a bolt head at the base of the middle of where the camera rests. This bolt is a 13mm and you will need at the least a 12" extension of a socket wrench. Doing this will remove the middle post from the camera leaving the plate on the camera. I will be getting a quick release...

I have to delete almost all jobs from the Capture app just to scan quick and even for trimming. From another point I have not updated the camera firmware and probably the app for a few months. Perhaps there are keys that will select segments with a window, but as it stands now, I have to delete rooms and individual segments, frankly, it's a huge waste of my time.
