8 daysVanaman06 (97): I’ve had issues with the tripod legs slipping with the Matterport tripod. Have had 1 replaced and my 2nd is starting to slip as well. There is not any adjustment screw to tighten the leg clamps. What probably happened is the camera mount was broken on the first fall and finally gave out on your second job. I’m on my 3rd camera mount in 4 years, both broken from drops of the camera but the mount saved the camera from taking damage.

After teaching forensic scanning for years, high density for open areas yes but some times the lower setting and the extra over lapping scans build the better denser point cloud so if your looking for point clouds the higher setting is not always the best setting. But like others say if you’re looking for just the tour speed is money.
