Matterport tour looks "Washed out".8792

I have a client that has used me a few times for images and matterport tours. I did a tour for them back early December 2018. They messaged me this weekend saying the tour looked washed out and if I could do anything about it. I am not so much concerned if it is or isn't washed out but more if there is anything I can do to to adjust that when having it processed with matterport. If that isn't possible what other solution can you suggest.

That's a tough one, it's just a really white house, and the time of day is bright. The only suggestion I can make is contact support and see if there's anything they can do. There's no other solution that I know of>

You can adjust for brightness in MPEmbed. But I think it looks good too. It has a lot of windows which means a lot of light coming in.

I could not see a single problem. It looks great to me with crisp images. Is there some specific room where we all can see that problem?

Thanks everyone for the comments so far. I did email them back and ask for more specifics. Im guessing it's from the kitchen looking into the picture windows. But they wanted it bright and sunny when I was there and I explained that this could happen.

@htimsabbub23 I would describe it as bright and airy, like a home with that kind of view should have. I wouldn't change anything. Good job.

Be happy it actually looks pretty good. Most of my stuff so far looks too dark. Yes Mpembed might tone it down but Mpembed does not take on iPad or iPhone. I got a tour I sent to Matterport support as delivered by Matterport and then a color correction white balanced version as delivered by Mpembed. So far any requests to Matterport support has been met with sorry we can’t do anything. Yes you could. Give us our high res panos so we can color correct them! Matterport needs an option so we can “edit” the panos. After all once the data is captured the panos must exist as files?

I actually see a LOT of problems with this tour.

The floor color is clearly a wood color if you look in the living room. The floor is colorless in other places as if it were gray. Either that of Matterport made it wood color in the living room In addition to this, the granite counters are extremely washed out. They should be dark.

Overall, the image quality is fantastic though. I imagine that Matterport did a good job of averaging the lighting so that everything was sort of in-the-middle. I also imagine that if you had shot photos, you'd likely be making local corrections to compensate in a similar way.

It's just a shame that there's nothing that you can do.

You might try MPEmbed, although, for real estate, I am not advocating its use as I have no idea if it is viable on your local MLS. NTREIS in North Texas has a list of approved vendors. MPEmbed isn't one and I haven't bothered to ask them to accept it. I only use it for non-Realtor tours.

@izoneguy - MPEmbed works fine on iPad and iPhone.

Yes I stand corrected....It does work but on the iPhone the difference was not as dramatic.

Thanks
