@reinspimg

Is ThreeSixty.Tours or CUPIX an example of what you are looking for?

Or, is this list helpful from anther WGAN Forum discussion?

Dan - The two providers I mention, do external 3D imaging of buildings and such similar to what Matterport does on this inside.

Ah! Thank you for clarifying. I could imagine that we have Members doing that.

Don’t forget Zephyr from 3dflow if you are in Photogrammetry

@DanSmigrod @reinspimg - I'm mentally using these tools and imagining use-cases. Just haven't had time. The good season to do this is coming and I want to go out and render out some 3D spaces and mash them up with Matterport.

ThreeSixtyModels is neat and a good way to tie different media together ... but I'd love to mash up a 3D aerial scan with 3D spaces -- and the best way I've come up with so far is SketchFab using their API for annotations that link to spaces.

You may think I'm crazy, but I think that Matterport should add drone support to Capture. They already did something crazy in creating the entire ecosystem that allows us to use some Kinect sensors (effectively) to build a full model of a house ... providing tools to capture entire spaces with photogrammetry that align to inside tours is another game changer that might just be worth exploring.

I do not think its crazy, I fully support this idea.I only see that MP is relying mostly on structured light to create the mesh, not photogrammetry. I am not sure they have all the resources to do it, as it is a totally different domain. Months ago I spoke with guys of Zephyr that they should get in touch with MP. But MP wasn't interested. Either they don't get the importance, or they have a plan B :-)

Cheers
