Hi All,

I saw this in a related We Get Around Network Forum discussion.

Anyone else try this?

Dan

Call me crazy, but I felt it processed the scans quicker than my iPad Air 2.

Personally, I'm waiting to see the new Pro offerings coming down the pipeline.

Yip, I have noticed it, :-)

Wonder how it turned out?

I tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to take 2 MP cameras and my iPad Air 2 and my son's iPad Mini 4 with me tomorrow and I will see if I can make a quick video. We can then see if it's in my head or if there's truth to it being faster. I will post it later tomorrow.

@Gransky, I am also curious to see the results of the comparison. how was your experience with regard to screen size on the mini?

@jc3dcx the screen size didn't really bother me, specifically for this particular house. It was a home built in the 70's so there wasn't any crazy windows or features that needed to be marked off. Personally, I liked carrying around the smaller profile device. Not that the iPad Air 2 is outrageous by any stretch, but I did find the mini to be more "comfortable".

@DanSmigrod As it turns out, at least for this very rudimentary test, the iPad Air 2 was slightly quicker than the iPad Mini 4 in regards to processing the scans. However, I think you will see, there aren't major differences between the two in regards to processing times.

Here's the video me and my boys put together this evening:

@Gransky

Much thanks for conducting and sharing the results.

Great to know, in a pinch.
