| Some of the most useful gear in a capture bag never came in a box. Someone hit a problem on a shoot, opened a CAD app, and printed the fix. I'd love to see what WGAN members are printing. Here are a few ideas to get you thinking. Mounts and adapters, like phone holders for the tripod and Insta360 or Ricoh adapters. Nadir helpers, like low-profile tripod feet that are easy to patch out of 360s. Protection, like lens caps, bumpers, and cases that keep a scanner safe in the car. Organization, like SD card and battery holders, cable clips, and gear-bag dividers. Drone gear, like landing gear extensions and controller mounts. Tell us about your best print: What is it, and what problem does it solve? Post a photo! Show it on its own and in use if you can. Did you design it or download it? Share the STL or a Printables or Thingiverse link if you're willing. What's your setup? Which printer and filament (PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS)? Bonus questions: What's a print that failed in the field? A snapped mount, one that melted in a hot car, one that showed up in every shot... What part do you wish someone would design? Somebody here might already have it, or might build it for you. Not printing yet? Jump in anyway. Tell us what you'd want to print, or ask whether a 3D printer is worth it for a capture business. Let's build a community library of the most useful printable gear in the industry. Post your favorite print below! |
