Hi All,

Lately I've been getting a lot of requests for iGUIDE CAD packages — enough that it's become a real line of business rather than an occasional add-on. Curious whether others are seeing the same thing.

Most recent project: a bed and breakfast in Napa, CA. The client needed an interior floor plan plus exterior elevations for AEC work he's planning. Big space — I scanned the entire exterior for an accurate site plan along with the full interior. Headed back tomorrow to capture the vertical scans, which should be a fun challenge.

A couple of others from the last few months:
— A full CAD package covering two houses for a contractor
— A large multi-site project scanning 100+ fast food restaurants

All delivered as iGUIDE CAD packages.

So — who else is doing this kind of work?

— What's driving your requests: architects, contractors, facility managers, someone else?
— What are you capturing with? iGUIDE, Matterport, Realsee, Giraffe360, terrestrial LiDAR, something else?
— How are you pricing CAD deliverables versus your standard tour packages?

Would love to hear what's working for you.

Tom

How accurate are they? I typically work for architects and corporations they require a lot of info and accuracy. I might give them a try to see what the output is like.

I could not information of lead time. There was a link for it but it took me to pricing. The price being based on scans rather than area is interesting.
