| Wondering if anyone has taken a outdoor only model of something like a playground or park... Also can scans be done if the camera is elevated off the ground ? If it were up 20 feet or so? | ||

| I've done one mostly outside with the last part going inside It spanned 3 houses front yards and a back yard Only stopped by the fading light, but managed 150 sweeps. Interesting with passing cars screwing up the sweeps though |

| Just try to scan close to objects. It helps with the stitching. If you are in a fully open field you will need to take smaller steps | ||

| Please see the Matterport User Group Forum thread: Matterport Pro 3D Camera - Outdoor Capture Within that thread is a link to 10 Tips for Shooting Outdoors with the Matterport Pro 3D Camera (which includes a rooftop lounge: all outdoors). For more about Outdoor capture, use the Search Forum feature on the left panel and/or search by Tags. Thanks, Dan |
