Leica BLK 360 and the Android Matterport Capture App?17151

Hello all!

I have an unusual job coming up where I must scan a stable with cows in it. It's pretty big and there are a lot of cows.

The cows move so I am thinking of using the Android App and making panoramas with my DSLR so I can adjust the shutter speed. In the spots where I can't enter I'm thinking of flying a drone in and making 360s there and again uploading via android once the 360s have been put together. The stitching lines with the indoor drone 360s are awful so I think I will hide these and just use them to make the dollhouse.

But the barn is really big and I think I might need a camera with lidar to finish the job as it has a transluscent roof and sunlight comes in. I have a Leica BLK 360 but I see it is only supported with iOS Capture.

Does anyone have any idea how I can handle a large space like the picture with spots I can't access and sunlight coming in?

Does anyone know if it is possible to use a LEICA with android Capture?

Please note the picture is just for show and the place I will capture is actually the cattle resting area with lots of cubicles with cows inside.

@Meidansha

Get the cows to stand still

I am guessing here, but I could imagine you could use the following for your workflow:

1. Ricoh Theta Z1 + Matterport CORTEX to convert 360 Views to 360 Scans
2. Leica BLK 360
3. iOS via iPad
4. Overscan with Leica BLK360 so that you can hide scans
5. When you hide scans, the scan data is still used to construct the dollhouse view
6. Review WGAN Forum discussions tagged: Large

Please let us know what you end up doing and what worked and did not work.
