I actually thought the first one has 30m radius and the new one is 45m. That's wrong. So in terms of how far the new model can see it is downgrade by 25%. 4 yearsWingman (4674): Actually about the upgrades. There are some late BLK360 units that are coming with a USB port installed in them(check your battery compartment). Leica has recently made firmware that allows to use that port for data transfer via a USB cable. Earlier BLK360 units do not have any USB port on them but have a placeholder for them to be installed. 5 yearsdave3d (527): Ps ....I use a BLK often. If you haven’t been load a stopwatch app on your smartphone. Set it for 3.5 min. That’s your Matterport scan time for BLK. If a large space draw your scan path and calculate time each way (BLK and pro2). Decide which you want. Don’t ever do a large scan without a scan plan. Consider time of day, sun height, etc. before you start. I’m not good at alignment in large spaces with Pro2. Not positive...
