I cranked up the tripod on the balconies in each case for a few extra scans.
The cathedral had three balconies covering both ends which made it easier.
On occasions where the ceilings are not so tall I’ll use an old Manfrotto Triaut tripod that stretches to over seven foot to get that extra data.

That's what I figured out looking at the non-covered spot.
Did you think about using a BLK360 to complete your church projects ?
Maybe you should use the new trim tool to clear up the black spots...

If they had the budget for the additional hire charges the BLK 360 would have improved the data big time.
The new trim tool would certainly improve matters, but the tour has already been deployed in a number of locations.
From previous experience its quite difficult to get clients to make the effort to update their websites, even when they have paid for the updated model.
