Can Matterport tours be private?8625

I am just getting started but a potential client already asked me if the tour could remain private? I told her I would ask here. This is a property but she wants it to be private by invitation only tour where the link could not be distributed. I was thinking of a password protected website. Can Matterport tours also have password protection?

@izoneguy

Yes. Matterport 3D Tours default is set to Private.

Based on your use case, I would recommend:

1. Placing your Client's tours within a folder: ClientA
2. Setting up an alias email address such as ClientA@izoneguy.com
3. Using this email address, add it as a Collaborator and grant permission to view folder: ClientA
4. Give that alias to you Client

While you could add your client's email as a Matterport Collaborator, I do not recommend it. The process is simply too hard to explain and implement.

The two WGAN-TV Story Stories (above) are from this two-hour WGAN-TV training video on Matterport Workshop; including how to set up a Matterport Collaborator. This video is viewable by WGAN Basic, Standard and Premium Members with an All Access Pass. (I will private Message you the pass.)

Best,

Dan
