| I have just completed a short promo video for a local realtor that is to be posted on Facebook. The original video is 1920x1080 and is about 4 minutes long. The file is about 310MB. Is this too big for Facebook uploading. I can re-encode to a smaller size if needed. What resolution should I use? Thanks for your hep. |

| Are you talking basic upload or for your FB header area? https://www.socialmediaexaminer.com/facebook-cover-video-how-to-set-up/ | ||

| I believe they will be posted as a basic upload. I only need to deliver the video. The realtor will take care of the upload. I found a "Facebook" preset of 1280x720 in my Adobe encoder software, so I'm planning to use that one. It still creates a 300MB+ file, but apparently that's an acceptable file size for FB. Thanks to all for your help. |

| Upload to your YouTube account as unlisted then download in HD. It will drastically reduce the file size while keeping it HD. | ||
