Hi All,

The WGAN Forum Question of the Day for Tuesday, 9 October 2018) is:

Do you include a Highlights Reel with Matterport scan?

Or, do you charge extra for Highlights Reel?

Best,

I always include a Showcase Tour with each MP model and walkthrough. I do this for two reasons: (1) MP is still unknown to most of the general public, so visitors to the MP models I create may not initially be understood. I set the Tour, always in walkthrough mode, to launch automatically using both MP parameters and WP3D settings, so visitors initially glide through a few major rooms. This way they understand it’s an interactive space and hopefully then will roam around and explore by themselves. My client seem to like this feature. I don’t charge extra for it, but use the benefit as a selling point against other MP providers who do nothing but create a model, in my view “lazy” approach. If engaging people with new technology, I lean toward providing the fullest experience possible.

@Home3D

Setting the tour to always in walkthrough mode sounds like a great idea to encourage engagement.

We lean to providing the fullest experience possible. It does eliminate us from consideration when agents are seeking the lowest price. We're fine with that since we seek high-end business for those that want the best experience.

Best,

Dan
