I scanned 5 floors of this house but I only get 4 floors on the 'floors' icon. I can tour all 5 floors though. Is it a stairs joining thing??

Anyone encountered this before?

thanks...

Angus

Yes. WGAN Forum Members have reported this kind of problem before.

Usually, it's a sunken living room where it is not obvious (to the Matterport computer) that it is an additional level.

I'm not sure the following will help, but it's worth a shot. I would dramatically trim the missing level differently. Use window trim tool heavy. Resubmit.

Also, contact Matterport Support.

Please let us know what happens.

Good luck,

Dan

I had this happen with a home that had 4 floors (lower, main, upper level and an observatory). The first pass missed the observatory, however, I could reach it with stairs. I went back to fix a rookie mistake in a bathroom, and when I re-processed, the observatory magically appeared. I don't recall if the floor selector was missing the observatory, but it was definitely missing from the dollhouse view.

Other posts have suggested to re-process the model after making some minor adjustment. A glitch in the Matterport "Matrix" I presume. Makes me wonder if larger models are more prone to this type of mistake.

Good luck.
Scott
