Hi I have just had an enquiry about a company that want 3D modelling for their machines they want ideally a 360 model with a white/transparent background. Is there any software or companies here that can do this? many thanks Andy

For building interior - Archilogic, for exterior hover.co for exterior, not sure about smaller machines.

@Walkabout Use Pano2VRIt will require a rotating table capable of carrying the weight of their equipment. Alternatively, if the equipment is bigger one needs to draw a circle around the equipment and index it in 10-degree increments, put a white screen in the background, light it up take 36 pics and import it into Pano2VR. Cappasity.comis an alternate solution.

Hi @Walkabout

I posted this on an earlier thread and it may be what you’re looking for:

Here is an example of a test scan I made a few years ago using the Occipital Structure Sensor Scanner attached to my iPad: Click Here to View Scan As you see this is hosted on Sketchfab and can be easily embedded on on a website and background changed. More info on the Structure Sensor here: https://structure.io

You can always use real 3D modeling... we can work from a physical sample, or from CAD files.
This can be a large amount of hours depending on what we work with, but once the 3D model is built, there is an endless amount of options that you can do with it (ex: You can change the color, remove any element, make a photo-realistic rendering from any view, insert it in a setting environment, etc... )

Here are a few examples : http://www.archimed-studio.com/projects/

I also have a couple of other projects that are not shown on our website, that could be even closer to your project.

You can always contact me if you think 3D modeling (rather than 3D scanning) could be an option.
