Screen Grab: eBlast from NCTech

Hi All,

Will NCTech make news at GEO Business 2018 next week (22-23 May 2018)?

UK-Based WGAN Member @@leonvanzweel - a frequent contributor on WGAN-TV Live at 5 (5 pm ET | GMT 04) - will be my guest Friday, 25 May 2018 to brief us on any news by NCTech that would be of interest to Matterport Service Providers and Google Street View Pros.

"all new iSTAR Pulsar, the most powerful, ultra high resolution, fully automatic, mobile 360° imaging system available today," says the NCTech eBlast promoting the NCTech participation at GEO Business 2018. "...find out how iSTAR Pulsar and our VR.World big data processing platform can help you and your business."

Plus, Leon will visit with other exhibitors that might be of interest to the WGAN Forum Community.

I don't know if they will take it to SV Summit 2018, but they are now at GEO Business in London, and at the SPAR 3D Expo in June 5-7, 2018 - Anaheim Convention Center - Anaheim, CA.

If you take a look at it there, show us please.

Thanks!

Hi Dan

Another great WGAN-TV International transmission and thanks to Leon for all the info and for getting to where I would love to have gone.

I had an email today [25 May 2018] from NCTECH sales with price as $USD3995.00 excluding ongoing fees for data processing, using cloud platform.

Pricing is almost Matterport but the Pulsar can play in sunshine and rain but looking forward to reviews on image quality even if applications are different.

It may be overkill using it indoors for AEC or Real Estate but the price is not that much more than the Insta 360 Pro so would be interesting to see a comparison.

A lot depends on whether the images remain on NCTECH servers or are released for us to use for GSV or other tours using Cupix, Pano2VR etc.

Scott at Cupix has mentioned previously Parallax issues with multi lens cameras compared with one shot Theta v's etc or DSLR images.

Will monitor your excellent forum and your presence in other places.

Thanks again Dan & Leon
