Walk out the door Issue5518

LeventeSolczi private msg quote post Address this user
I made a big scan. There is door at the backside and i cannot go outside straightly.

I have to click to the right step if i want to get out.

Why is that? I made a video for that.

Video: https://youtu.be/2v58AKbLeCQ

Modell: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=QByGafpRYtq

Thank You for help!

That's because you've scanned with the door closed from a distance, so there is 3D data that blocks your navigation.

You can use the trim tool to mark the door opening as shown by @Marcel in this thread, using 2 trim lines facing each other. After trimming the door, re-upload the model and you should be good to go once processed.

It looks like the point it blocked by a false depth issue. The door in that scan does not go away completely.

You can see it as you click back to that spot. It acts like a wall instead of seeing through it.
