Screen Grab: Error: You cannot save a snapshot for a disable scan position

Hi All,

About the Matterport Workshop message (screen grab above):

Error: You cannot save a snapshot for a disable scan position

(and similar messaging for Highlights reel)

I wish Matterport would at least change the wording and workflow to something like ...

Would you like this scan enabled so that you can make a Snapshot?

How about you?

Best,

Dan

I grab my photos and download them prior to turning the view points off and yes I wish they would also just separate the photos from the scan model and allow them stand alone. I do like you do, I scan from several extra positions either to get coverage or to extract photos from different points especially with the new camera. It would be a simple coding issue to allow this, it would be even a simpler question when you take the photo are you going to use it in the tour, if you say no then there is no reason to retain the tie to the scan. I can see that is the only reason a photo is tied to the scan. Or even better yet you do not get a warning until you toggle on the tour switch which could say you have photos in your model that are not tied to a active scan. Just my thoughts.
