I'm struggling to get one of our most recent Matterport tours to display on our wordpress.com blog. This is my first attempt at getting one of these onto our blog. Is it possible? I've read that any iframe code will be stripped from their .com blogs...is there any hope? Geeze, that's a lot of usage of the word "blog."

I'll take a moment here to make sure that everyone understands the difference between WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG.

".ORG" refers to the "self-hosted" version of WordPress and the one that my WP3D Models Plugin was built for.

".COM" refers to the "hosted" version of WordPress where you sign up online and make an account with WordPress directly...not a separate hosting company/etc. My plugin does not work with this scenario.

While these two "flavors" might seem similar, they're very different.

Anyway...back to @Erika_D and your question. You are correct in that WordPress.com will strip iframe (embedded) content. This post pretty much sums it up.

All that said...when you're ready to create your own "self-hosted" WordPress site, my plugin will make all your embedding problems disappear!

Please reach out of you have any other questions.

Thx...Ross
