	Kevin, a reasonably lightweight tripod will work best, since your going to be doing a lot of carrying it around. A pan/tilt head is preferable, though a ball head can be made to work. Make sure the head uses an Arca-compatible quick release plate, because that is what the camera is designed to fit into.
