Win a PMRE 2026 Ticket: Your Worst Editing Week

I have one full-access ticket to the Photo + Media for Real Estate Conference in Las Vegas, November 17 to 19, 2026, at the Palms Casino Resort. I am giving it to a WGAN member. Imagen is putting up five runner-up prizes of 250 editing credits each.

This is not a random draw. What you write is the entry.

The question: Tell us about the worst post-production week you have had this year. What happened, what it cost you, and what you would change if you could.

Optional, but useful to everyone reading: add your typical weekly shoot volume, what your editing stack looks like right now, and your usual turnaround time.

Post-production is the part of this business nobody talks about honestly. Most of us have cobbled together some mix of presets, outsourced editors, AI tools, and late nights, and most of us quietly assume everyone else has it figured out better than we do. They do not. So tell the real story, including the parts held together with tape.

How to enter: Reply to this thread. One entry per member, open to WGAN members anywhere in the world. You must be a registered WGAN member, and registration is free at wegetaroundnetwork.com. You can edit your reply any time before the deadline.

The grand prize: One full-access ticket to PMRE 2026, covering the three-day conference. Judged by me and a member of the Imagen team on honesty, specificity, and how much another photographer would learn from reading it. We are not looking for the best-written entry. We are looking for the truest one.

Deadline: Entries close Monday, October 12, 2026 at 11:59pm Pacific. Winners announced in this thread on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

What the ticket does and does not cover: It is the conference pass only. Travel and lodging are not included. You get yourself to Las Vegas and put a roof over your head. Please enter for the grand prize only if you can realistically be there November 17 to 19.

About the credits: One credit edits one photo with Imagen's full AI toolset. Credits do not expire and can be added to any Imagen account, whether you are a paying subscriber, on a trial, or signing up for the first time. Every new Imagen account already starts with 250 free credits, so a runner-up who is new to the platform ends up with 500, worth roughly $160. Runner-up credits are applied within five business days of the winner providing the email address on their Imagen account.

Official rules: No purchase necessary and no product use is required to enter or to win. Open to registered We Get Around Network members who are 18 years or older as of the entry date. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Not open to residents of any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive United States sanctions. Entries must be posted in this thread before the deadline. One entry per member; duplicate or multiple entries will be disqualified. The grand prize is judged by Tom Sparks of the We Get Around Network and a named representative of Imagen on the criteria stated above. Community Favorite is determined by the like count on each entry at 11:59pm Pacific on October 12, 2026. The remaining four runner-up awards are selected by the judges. Judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. There is one grand prize and five runner-up prizes. Approximate retail value of the grand prize is $899.00. Approximate retail value of each runner-up prize is $160.00. The grand prize is a conference ticket only; travel, lodging and all other expenses are the winner's responsibility, and you should enter only if you are able to attend in Las Vegas November 17 to 19, 2026 at your own expense. The grand prize is non-transferable and no cash equivalent will be offered. The grand prize winner must confirm within 72 hours of notification or an alternate will be selected. Runner-up winners must supply the email address associated with their Imagen account in order to receive credits. Winners are solely responsible for all taxes and any withholding applicable in their jurisdiction. United States winners may be required to complete a Form W-9 and will receive a Form 1099-MISC where the combined prize value requires it.
