When I took over We Get Around Network from Dan Smigrod at the start of this year, one of the first things I looked at was the membership structure. It had grown over the years into a mix of plan names that no longer described what anyone actually got. Basic, Standard, Premium, Fan Club, International Fan Club, etc. If you had to explain the difference to a new member, you would struggle, and I did struggle, more than once.

So on October 1, 2026, WGAN moves to three main membership tiers: Access, Capture, and Elite.

Access is free. You get a WGAN forum account, you can read every thread, post questions, and take part in the community. This is where most people should start, and there is no reason to pay anything to be a working part of this community.

Capture is $29 per month, or $228 per year. This is the tier for working professionals who want more than forum access.

Elite is $79 per month, or $708 per year. This is the top public tier.

I will publish the full feature breakdown for each tier before October 1. I am still finalizing what goes where, and I would rather get that right than announce it early and change it twice.

If you are already a paying member, [b]read this part.

Your current rate is not changing. Not now, not at renewal, not next year. Every existing paid subscription is grandfathered at the rate you are paying today, permanently, for as long as your subscription stays active. The new pricing applies to people who sign up on or after October 1.

Your plan name will change. If you are on a legacy plan today, you will see a new tier name on your account starting October 1. I am emailing every member individually with their specific old plan name and new tier name, so you do not have to work it out from this post. If you have not received that email by mid September, tell me and I will find out why.

Now, you may see some emails from our credit card processors about status changes. Those emails are just to inform you that your plans have been successfully moved over (on the payment processing side). I will follow up with everyone individually who does get these emails to ensure and confirm that everything has been migrated successfully.

If your membership has lapsed or you are not sure where you stand.

Part of this project has been reconciling a decade of membership records across two payment systems, and I have found accounts where the records disagree with each other. If you think your membership status is wrong, or you have been paying and my email says otherwise, contact me directly before October 1. I would rather sort out fifty of these by hand than move one person to the wrong tier.

Why I am doing this.

Clearer tiers are the first step, not the point. We are building out the new profile pages, WGAN Find a Pro directory, The Find a pro map revamp, Help Wanted post notifications, and more, and none of that works cleanly on a membership structure where nobody can tell you what their plan includes. Getting this foundation right is what makes the rest possible.
