I had gotten complacent & not thoroughly checking props prior to flights (just doing a quick once over)

lost a prop mid-flight ~ luckily I was able to limp the bird to the top of the property into a horse field rather than the grove of trees at the bottom of the property so, I was able to recover the carnage

@lilnitsch wow, that sucks! sorry that happened. I don't think i've ever checked my props before flight, smh, something I will do from now on.
do you have insurance on it? hopefully so.

@lilnitsch I do the once over to see if the props are loose but now I guess a second check of the screws are needed. Not a good feeling, does not make for a good day, sorry to hear this, but thank you for sharing it may help others and save thousands.
