Geo Week is a We Get Around Network Marketing Partner

Advisory Board Announced for Geo Week 2027
The organizers of Geo Week — the premier conference and tradeshow for geospatial and mapping professionals — have announced the influential industry leaders joining the 2027 Advisory Board. The board recommends conference topics and speakers, consults on the program, and serves as a resource for networking and event development.

Geo Week 2027 takes place February 23–25, 2027, at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah.
"Geospatial technology never stands still, and neither does the way professionals are applying it," said Adrianne Madden, Event Director of Geo Week. She noted that the Advisory Board's perspective keeps the event grounded in what matters most to the practitioners, project leaders, and innovators who attend each year.

This year the board welcomed two new members: David Epps, CTO of Envision Construction, and Izabela Miller, GIS Leadership Consultant at Growing Curiosity.
Epps highlighted how reality capture, BIM, drones, lidar, digital twins, and construction technology workflows increasingly overlap, and how Geo Week creates a cross-disciplinary forum for those conversations instead of in silos.

2027 Advisory Board Members:

Dr. Qassim Abdullah — Woolpert, Inc.
Dan Bellissemo — GIS Surveyors, Inc.
Andrew Brenner — NV5 Geospatial
David Epps — Envision Construction
Martin Flood — GeoCue Group, Inc.
Thomas Haun — Turner Staffing Group
Blaine Horner — Merrick & Company
Shawana P. Johnson — Global Marketing Insights, Inc.

Patrick Lohman — Cloneable AI
Izabela Miller — Growing Curiosity
Mohamed Mostafa — Trimble Applanix
Jonathan Murphy — GoGeomatics Canada

Dr. Jason Stoker — U.S. Geological Survey (USGS)

Beyond programming, Geo Week looks to the board to grow the workforce, foster leadership, and expand networking. "The technology changes. The software evolves. But the community — the GIS professionals who show up year after year, committed to doing this work well — that is what this field is actually made of," said Miller. She added that she hopes the next generation leaves knowing technical excellence is the beginning, not the ceiling.
