| Hi All - Can someone help me with an urgent problem? I have a large exterior-only Matterport model of a pedestrian area. I want to allow the viewer to be able to look into some of the interiors of the attractions along the way of this area. I have created individual MP tours of each of these attractions. I have placed Mattertags along the way, and have added a link to the interior attraction MP at the appropriate point. The links work just fine, but there's one "little" problem that is a HUGE problem. The second Matterport opens in the same browser window as the main tour. So, the viewer can't navigate back to the main tour! All I need is a workable solution to force the second Matterport to open in a new tab/window. Anyone have a solution? The first one with a workable solution will receive two pounds of freshly caught flash-frozen Gulf Coast shrimp as a "thank you" Best, Keith |

| I haven't used Mpembed in years. I believe they offer a "Tags Panel Click" Where you can "Pick the behavior when a tag is clicked in the panel". Might be worth trying out if your main pages uses a Mpembed link instead of Matterport. https://mpembed.com/premium/free/ | ||

| Hey Keith, Try this, it's the fastest fix and requires zero code. The trap: The dedicated link field on a Mattertag is what's forcing same-window behavior. Matterport sanitizes that field and ignores target="_blank". The fix: Skip the link field entirely. Put the URL in the description as a markdown link instead. Markdown links in Mattertag descriptions do honor new-tab behavior. How to do it: 1. Open your main exterior tour in Workshop 2. Click the Mattertag you want to edit 3. Clear out the link/URL field (this is the critical step) 4. In the description box, add a markdown link like this: Visit the [Museum Interior](https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=ABC123) 5. Save and test, the link in the billboard description will now open in a new tab Test it on one tag first to confirm it works in your embed setup, then roll it out to the rest. Best, Tom |
