Good day, I’m working with a client who needs drone videography for a few of their communities. Each video requires a full aerial package, including a high‑altitude overview of the community, entrance monument, streetscapes, amenities, model home, and footage of the surrounding area (e.g., points of interest). I'm curious to know what the industry standard rate is or what you would charge per video? Thanks.

@leeverdon Like @lilnitsch said, pricing is dependent on your market... I'm in the SF bay area and charge $250 for aerial photography, $350 for aerial videography (that includes aerial photos as well).

I charge my clients $500 per video, which includes photos. This client is interested in group pricing by phases/location rather than pricing each community individually. See phases below. Phase 1: 6 communities Phase 2: 5 communities Phase 3: 4 communities Phase 4: 14 communities Phase 5: 4 communities Phase 6: 2 communities Phase 7: 2 communities To support that, I would need to capture the surrounding area footage in seven different locations so each phase has its own usable material. Collecting this footage will require a significant amount of time due to the driving, parking, and filming involved. How would you price this project by phase?
