Hello, does anyone have a link to a Matterport 'compare spaces side by side' model showing different stages of residential construction? Many thanks.

Hi @denlee
I have had the privilege of trying out this new addition to Matterport, and it really is an amazing feature.
Whether you choose the split screen, or the slider feature it is very slick.
I have shown it to a number of potential customers and the response has been very positive.
I will enquire if I can share the models here, or not.

@tomsparks
Tried to upload my YouTube video that demonstrates a side by side using Matterport. It showed up for a moment then disappeared. Any advice?

@DigitalReplica3D thanks for sharing Charlie.. this looks good!
how was it to scan? did you have to try and get as close to the previous scan points as possible?

Thanks @tomsparks Ideally the scan points should match as close as possible. The Compare tool is similar to the Merge tool. It’s a bit cumbersome. I’m having difficulty trying to merge more than two spaces. I scanned As-Built, Demod, Framed, Wiring and Plumbing, Insulation and Finish Drywall. I’ll update you if I manage to compare all six progressions.
Best,
