| I have a matterport account on a monthly billing plan that bills my card automatically. Matterport sent an email today claiming an outstanding balance for the amount that was due on 02/16 threatening to cancel my subscription. However, my card account show the charge posted to the account on 02/16. Anyone else dealing with this type of thing from matterport? My other account is paid yearly and hasn't had any issues. |

| Hi @vrephoto. I'd reach out to support just to be sure, but there were some emails floating around last week about a billing/payment issue, I think, that they later emailed had been fixed. I'm sorry, I don't have much more info than that. tom |

| I was able to get someone on the phone today and they told me it was a known issue and they would follow up when it's resolved. Kind of disappointing that they didn't respond to my email support request for 24 hours to let me know what's going on. Having the data for hundreds of scans solely in their hands makes me nervous. | ||

| I received a similar email in January. In my matterport account my subscription was up to date. I kept screenshots of my dashboard where it said that my account was current just in case they tried to pull a fast one. A few years back my Classic account was canceled due to non-payment. I had two forms of payment on my account. One primary and one backup. MP never attempted to charge the backup option and so the reinstated my account. That was a scary lesson to learn. Everyone should have at least one backup form of payment on your account. Folks who have been around MP for a while will tell you that they have some pretty shady practices. My Classic account is priceless. |
