My apologies if this was known but I just learned of this for the first time at Geo Week 2026. I was talking to the kind folks at DJI about the ban and asked about updates... they said they are supporting updates through Jan 2027 and it's likely that the US Gov't will "allow" updates past that. They are actively trying to work through getting off the banned list. That's all they could share as of now.
