Here’s what I understand about the BLK360 situation, in plain English ![]() Apple has strict App Store requirements. When an iOS app gets submitted, Apple reviews not just the app, but also the third-party libraries/SDKs inside it. If those components don’t meet Apple’s current standards, the app (or certain integrations) can’t ship in the App Store. In this case, the Leica BLK360 SDK hasn’t been maintained in a way that keeps it compliant with Apple’s latest requirements. From what I’ve been able to gather, Matterport pushed the integration as far as possible, but eventually hit a point where they could no longer continue distributing the Capture app in the App Store with BLK360 support. Also worth noting: there have been times where a legacy/compatible build was kept available via TestFlight (Apple’s beta program) for a limited window, since Apple does allow older versions to remain accessible temporarily under certain conditions. Bottom line: it doesn’t appear this was a “we don’t want to support BLK360” decision. It looks like a compliance + SDK maintenance issue that left them with very limited options. |

| I have heard this. However it is odd that it is still supported by Leica's own capture app "Cyclone Field" and not by the Matterport Capture App. | ||
