Any buyout or takeover discussion to sell the company? Sky replacements all look the the same. Yes, there's a little variation in cloud placement, but you can spot a "fotello edited" job a mile away based on the exteriors. Any plans to integrate photographer's uploaded skies so photographers can differentiate themselves from their competitors who also use fotello? The subscription model based on a "per job" cost is smoke and mirrors unless every job uses the maximum amount of photos. $20 per job is very expensive if you only have 15 images. Any current plans to offer "per photo" pricing? The ai has a lot of difficulty with text that gets jumbled and some textures like gravel or vegetation with a lot of small leaves that results in obvious patterns in the final image. Any plans to fix these issues?

@vrephoto Thanks for the questions. On the call Harman said that yes, photographers will be able to upload their own skies. I will follow up on your other questions... regarding the per job cost.. As a media provider myself, I can appreciate the wanting to pay per photo, but I think it evens itself out in the long run. I did a job the other day with 3 photos and then one today with 60... I like having one set cost per processing, makes my life easier. i'm with you on the AI having difficulty with house numbers, text on signs, etc. not just with Fotello but AI in general. tom

regarding paying whatever amount per job monthly it costs: Can you edit photos and simply download them to your PC? If yes, I do not see any reason to pay monthly for many jobs every months because as soon as you finish editing you can get edited photos and remove that job from your account. What is a point to keep these photos on Fotello anyway and paying for each monthly to them?

Quote:Originally Posted by TomSparks My human editors are $0.40 per image. A lot of time on their end and my end has gone into getting pretty good results most of the time, although "pretty good" and "most of the time" are not how I like to operate. Fotello made a big deal about how their pricing would save money, but it only holds water if every job is 75 images. I still do a lot of exteriors in house (as I did with human editors) but the pe job cost is about 65% more than using human editors. I'm still on the fence about continuing with fotello. What is currently keeping me with them is a combination of the speed and unlike the human editors, the problems are somewhat predictable and usually not too difficult to fix in-house. I wish they return the images full size, which would make fixing a lot easier. Most times I've sent fix requests through fotello, I have not been satisfied with their "fix". |

@Wingman Great question. Yes, you can download all edited photos once a job is complete and archive the job anytime. The cost is for the editing and processing, not storage. That’s why many users prefer our Pay-as-You-Go option, where you only pay per job with no ongoing commitment. Happy to clarify further if needed. Best regards, Anu Fotello
