| I just a received an email from Zillow New Construction. See below. Dear Valued Partner, We’re writing about a change to Matterport virtual tours on Zillow. CoStar recently elected not to renew its Matterport API agreement with Zillow. It also changed its terms of service to restrict the use of Matterport 3D virtual tours outside of CoStar-owned sites. Due to this decision, Zillow has removed Matterport 3D virtual tours from listings on our sites. You are receiving this email because you have listings or Community Details Pages that were impacted. Please note that this change also affects listings syndicated to Redfin. We understand how frustrating this is for you and the home shoppers you’re trying to reach — it is for us as well. We also know how important virtual tour content is to your marketing strategy and want to do everything we can to help you replace these removed tours. To help you replace this content, Zillow is offering $350 worth of 3D virtual tour services through Zillow Media Experts for each of your unique active tours that are impacted, giving you high-quality assets that are yours to use — including outside the Zillow ecosystem. You can start now: Visit this link and use promo code ZNC350 to redeem your offer. Simply add “New Construction: Essentials+ Package” to your cart. Eligible properties will be able to schedule a shoot and get your new 3D virtual tour quickly delivered, within days of your appointment. We also accept a wide range of other third-party virtual tour providers for your active listings. You can find that full list of partners at the end of this email. If you’re currently working with a provider that’s not on that list, just let us know and we’ll do everything we can to enable those tours on Zillow. Our goal is to give you more flexibility when marketing your properties — wherever that may be. We’re committed to providing a high-quality experience for home shoppers while keeping your entire business fully supported. That will always remain our priority. Thank you for your continued partnership. If you have any questions related to this process, please reach out to buildersupport@zillowgroup.com or your Zillow sales professional. Sincerely, The Zillow New Construction Team Zillow accepted third-party tour providers: 3DPlans, Asteroom, AtHum, Beyond View, Biganto, CloudPano, CubiCasa, Cupix, EyeSpy360, Giraffe360, Go Prop Tech, Google Maps 360, Gryd, Helix Media, iGuide, InsideMaps, Inspection, Express, IT49, KNTXT, Kuula, Labpano, LCP Media, Momento360, Nodalview, Panoroom, Peek, PlaceVR, PropertyPanorama, Real Vision, RealPage, Repli 3D, Ricoh, Sphere, The ViewTour Factory, TourMKR, TrueView360, VPIX, White Branch, Zillow 3D Home, zInspector My reading of the situation: - Matterport links may still appear, but they may not be given priority or full functionality on Zillow’s site (they may show only in “Home Facts” section or as basic links rather than embedded tours). - For optimal visibility and reliability on Zillow (and syndication to sites like Redfin, Realtor.com, etc.), we should use a Zillow-approved 3D tour provider rather than relying solely on Matterport. - If we continue to use Matterport, monitor each listing on Zillow to verify whether the tour is being displayed properly and consider switching if it isn’t. Any thoughts on this major announcement and how are you communicating this to your clients? |

| HousingWire (20 October 2025) Zillow pulls Matterport tours from its listings Hopefully that link posted correctly. But this appears to be a full-on execution of matterport from Zillow all together. I don't think any MP tours will be visible on Zillow anymore. |

| @leeverdon I just did some online research and posted on the other discussion link about this topic. Your comment: "Matterport links may still appear, but they may not be given priority or full functionality on Zillow’s site (they may show only in “Home Facts” section or as basic links rather than embedded tours". The checking I did followed about 20 listings on my local MLS that showed Matterport media links posted to the properties. I looked on Zillow for all those listings in the Facts and Features Interior sections down the Zillow listing page and did not find ONE link connecting to a Matterport tour. From what I can tell, Zillow is NOT displaying any Matterport links on their site. The only work-around is to put the Matterport tour on a single-page property site and post that page to the MLS. It will show up down the page (buried...) in the Facts and Features Interior section with links to other off-side media. |

| I received the same email from the Matterport Leadership Team, and unfortunately, it’s caused unnecessary concern among my clients. I’ve been actively reassuring them that it’s business as usual, but I can’t help but wonder if the message has already undermined their confidence. | ||

| CoStar Media Release --- CoStar Group sets the Record Straight on Matterport Spaces Arlington, Va. (October 21, 2025) – CoStar Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSGP), a leading provider of online real estate marketplaces, information, analytics, and 3D digital twin technology, announced its continued support for Matterport Spaces across all media channels. Zillow is again engaging in anti-consumer conduct, claiming that CoStar Group has “restricted the use of Matterport 3D virtual tours outside of CoStar-owned sites.” This is untrue. Matterport Spaces—i.e., our 3D virtual tours—purchased through Matterport may be displayed on any site. If anyone signs up for a Matterport subscription and creates a Matterport 3D virtual tour—what we call a Matterport Space—they can post the Space wherever they like. These Matterport Spaces can be input into all MLSs for distribution on all IDX websites and portals, including Zillow. At least one MLS, CRMLS, has already issued a correction, confirming that its members may continue to use their Matterport Spaces on their listings. Thousands of businesses leverage Matterport Spaces for a wide variety of uses, ranging from architectural design to construction management, insurance adjustment, industrial operations and manufacturing, and everything in between. Only CoStar Group media created for exclusive use on CoStar Group platforms, such as Matterport Spaces shot by CoStar Group photographers for Homes.com memberships or Apartments.com advertising, remain proprietary. Gene Boxer, CoStar Group’s General Counsel, said: “Zillow is trying to mislead agents to divert attention from five lawsuits filed against Zillow in the last four months: (1) Compass sued Zillow for its anticompetitive listing ban; (2) CoStar Group sued Zillow for massive copyright infringement; (3) a class of plaintiffs sued Zillow for their deceptive lead diversion through the use of the ‘contact agent’ button; (4) the FTC sued Zillow for entering into an anticompetitive agreement with Redfin; and (5) five states sued Zillow for the same anticompetitive agreement. Zillow’s recent partnership with ChatGPT is also being questioned by MLSs. Zillow’s misstatements are a pretext to exclude a superior, competing product from its network. Resorting to these anticompetitive tactics against CoStar Group demonstrates that Homes.com and Matterport are succeeding.” About CoStar Group CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a global leader in commercial real estate information, analytics, online marketplaces, and 3D digital twin technology.
