| I disagree that it is better or cheaper. But let's start with FASTER. If it gets it right, it can be faster, however I've had jobs where over half the images had problems. Unlike. human editor, where I can email with a screenshot and a few notes, I now have to make individual notes on 30 photos without the ability to send a notated screenshot. 8 hours later they have updated with substandard "fixes". Their support offered to assist in these cases but in practice was not very helpful. Better? No. It's very good with ideal conditions, but a common problem is wall color confusion. From one angle, the colors might be ok, but the same room from another angle and it makes 1 wall an entirely different color. Another common issue is yellow/orange interior lights are often corrected on the walls but not corrected on the floors. Cheaper? No, it's not. The subscription model is based on 60 images at $20/job. That's not bad, but how about jobs with 20 photos? Still $20! That's $1 per photo. It is possible to get the same quality and better consistency for 40 cents an image with human editors. I want to like this and I hope it gets better, but so far I've been disappointed with the quality issues and the pricing feels like I'm getting scammed. For now, I find it useful for jobs that need a fast turnaround and don't care about color accuracy. |
