Help! Pro3 T-Mount Won’t Disengage!20175

Hi All -

Just finished a 700+ scan project and am dissembling the camera. For some reason, I cannot get the T-Mount to disengage from the camera - no matter how I wiggle and jiggle it. Anyone seen this before?? Solution (other than to waste a week or more of scanning sending it off)?

Thanks,

Keith

@DanSmigrod

It would be helpful if I could get the one that’s stuck in it out of it! I have spare mounts, but I can’t seem to work this one out! $@&&!

@Chemistrydoc have you tried leaving the mount in place and just unscrew mount from tripod?

Quick temporary fix.

That’s what I did! Just not a long term solution!!

My long term concern has always been this design, ever since the internal screw fiasco. Why do we have to have something so radically different why can’t we just keep what’s working.
