Virtual Staging: Same Dining Room Staged in 8 Styles by AI within Minutes

Hi All,

Using the Virtual Staging AI platform for residential real estate, I virtually staged this empty dining room (above) in eight (8) styles (below) within minutes.

[The original image was an export from a Matterport Pro1 Camera.]

It's super-easy to virtually stage residential real estate spaces:

1. Upload Image
2. Select Room type
3. Select Furniture style
4. Create unlimited variations (until you are happy)
5. Download the virtually staged images of your choice

Our show topic:

WGAN-TV | Intro to Virtual Staging of Real Estate Photos powered by Virtual Staging AI (VSI)

Michael will show us how to:

virtually stage - in 10 seconds - using AI powered by Virtual Staging AI
virtually declutter a space - in 10 seconds - using AI powered by Virtual Staging AI
✓ use different virtual staging furniture options

Among the questions that I will ask Michael about the "world's first virtual staging algorithm powered by artificial intelligence" are:

✓ Why should a photographer offer virtual staging?
✓ Why a photographer that is presently outsourcing virtual staging should try Virtual Staging AI?
✓ What are the benefits of virtual staging from a real estate agent's perspective?
✓ What are suggested pricing strategies for real estate photographers to charge real estate agents?
✓ Why should virtual staging be included in a real estate photographer's bundles?
✓ Should virtual staging - and virtual decluttering - be offered as an Add On (or no charge)?
✓ How does virtual staging differentiate a real estate photographer?
✓ What does "Decluttering Included" mean?
✓ What does "Unlimited Revisions" mean?
✓ How did Virtual Staging AI get started?
✓ How many clients does Virtual Staging AI have?
✓ How to get the best virtual staging results with Virtual Staging AI?
✓ Talk about: "World's first virtual staging algorithm powered by artificial intelligence."
✓ Talk about: "Developed at Harvard Innovation Labs."

Almost there.... While generative AI is developing quite impressively, this platform's AI rendering still warrants some improvement. After trying it, I'm not sure any professional realtor will accept the amount of visible distortions and generative artifacts that the renderings produce.

@Shakoure

While I agree with you that Virtual Staging AI "still warrants some improvement" ...

I am confused ...

Given that a virtually staged image by Virtual Staging AI is:

1. under $1
2. unlimited revisions at no extra charge
3. results back within seconds

Seems like it makes "cents" to just keep doing revisions until the image is "good enough" to send to a client.

I could imagine offering an Add On -- AI Virtual Staging -- for $99 to virtually stage:

1. living room
2. bedrooms (all)
3. dining room
4. home office

For client that want non-AI Virtual Staging, charge what you charge per image now.

You already shot the space. Virtual Staging is an easy, fast and affordable Add On to offer.

Your thoughts?

@DanSmigrod ...The pricing is indeed really cheap, but of course it is... it's a generative model that can auto produce thousands of images 24/7. However, I don't think most professional realtors would use photos that contain distortions even if it was free. If you look at the example image below, you'll see the wood warping of flooring and bottom edges of the wall, the legs of the table merging into each other, the softened definition the AC unit, and other artifacts... all hallmarks of AI generated imaging. All of the images I asked it to generate had these problems. However, the science is there for improved training of their model, which I think is just a matter of time. In fact, I'm a lot more excited about what we can achieve with Sora by Open AI once it releases a photo to video modal. The clip includes a real estate sequence.

@Shakoure

I am suggesting that you only send the real estate agent the best image generated: not every image generated.

For example, I created 22 versions of the dinning room (top of post). I shared 8 of these in this WGAN Forum discussion. If I was sending a virtually staged image to a client, I would only send one of these eight.

For clarification, I would pick just one virtually staged image to send to the client.
