How to check/record IP addresses which accessed the Matterport tour?18086

aerialpixels private msg quote post Address this user
We have clients who are very concerned about security of who sees their spaces.

But as I have advised them, even with passwords, anything hosted on internet
can essentially be also photographed from screen.

Hence does anyone have any ideas / solutions for more 'audited / controlled' access,
such as logging of IP addresses or etc?

Thanks!

The simplest way is to create a page just for a 3D tour and track with IP logger who is accessing it or who can access it. If your client's website is on WordPress there is plenty of addons for it. I am using one called IP Location Block that blocks access by a specific country. There were some stupid spammers who were coming to my website from a specific country a few times a day just to send me their spam. They probably came only once to grab all fields and then injected them in their tools to send spam without even visiting my website. Now they have been blocked completelly. The addon has a log of all IPs coming to my website.
