When should you use immersive meetings?

Hi!

In case anyone’s been curious about trying out immersive meetings, I wanted to share info from our newest blog article.

---

We frequently get asked about the difference between using immersive meetings versus just sharing screens or files with standard video conferencing.

SuperViz enables participants to still see each other and speak face-to-face via webcam, but with the addition of independent movement and engagement within the digital space. With just a click, your guests can meet you directly inside a Matterport tour, 3D model, CAD file or 360 content.

It’s like a virtual group teleportation experience where you can move everyone between different tours, and with the addition of customized avatars, you can feel even more like yourself in remote meetings.

Using immersive meetings is the best option when you need to…

– Provide a guided tour or curated virtual experience instead of just sending a link.
– Simplify meetings that involve spatial content like 3D models or digital twins.
– Help people visualize a space that isn’t built yet.
– Create more equitable and accessible processes by enabling everyone to participate remotely.
– Increase efficiency with synchronous remote collaboration directly inside models.
– Demonstrate your company’s commitment to sustainability throughout design, planning, and building phases.

The only thing you have to do to host a meeting is add your content and then click to create an invitation link. We offer free 14-day trials (no credit card) if you want to check it out.

Hi! Thanks for reaching out! We currently don't support VR, I'm sorry! But we're a non-VR option for people who need to meet via browser without headsets and want that sense of presence and capability to move around within the space.
