A Matterport Service Provider with a Matterport Pro3 Camera emailed me:

How are others charging for exterior scans? With interiors it is by square footage, but for exteriors? Any thoughts are appreciated, thank you very much. I think guessing at square footage with the measure tool will be inaccurate. Any thoughts are appreciated, thank you very much.

Here are 10 thought-starters for charging for OUTDOOR Spaces when using a Matterport Pro3 Camera to scan outdoors:

1. Flat Fee for the project
2. By the Hour

4. By the Full Day
5. By SQFT

7. By use case (that may determine the density of scans)

We are 98% residential.

My thought right now is to keep our current pricing structure and just do an add-on for exterior scanning.
Less than 1/4 acre, 1/4 acre to 1/2 acre, 1/2 acre to 1 acre. More than acre > quote.

We currently offer 2 residential interior MP choices.

1- living space only, not including garage (only available as add-on to photo shoot)
2- all under roof spaces including garage and covered porches, free floorplan
