| My "Acceleration Pack" arrived this morning from Amazon. I had originally ordered directly from Matterport the morning of the announcement. When I saw it was also for sale by Amazon (prompted by Matterport) I took a risk and ordered a second camera from there as well as by that point "Early September" had come and gone. I'm glad I did as my recent communications with Matterport have shown "Early September" turn into "Mid to late September" and I'm sure the slide will continue. They did tell me that (as I would have thought) the bundles were going to ship first, and then the standalone cameras. If anyone who purchased a stand alone camera is interested in any of the accessories that came with the bundle, I'm willing to part with anything but the spare battery. |

Oh, it's way too late  I'll say the "unboxing" wasn't anything to write home about. The tripod, dolly and backpack case are all just rebadged with Matterport logo. The hard case is nice with CNC cut foam slots for all the small accessories. The real treat is the Pro3 itself and it's very very nice soft sided case with foam supports. I can post some pictures if that would benefit anyone, but aside from the hard case, all the accessories are just bundled inside of a huge brown box with air packs. |

| It was ordered through matterport. I did a test scan on my house last night. Don't really want to share it, my grandkids were over and it looked like a war zone. But I will say I am very impressed with the speed, accuracy and quality. I am doing a new construction job tomorrow, and I will share that scan. | ||

| I wasn't able to scan the new construction today. It hasn't passed the punch list. But I rescanned a property our Real Estate division has listed. Compared to the Pro2 it was night and day. I had zero alignment issues. It transitioned from interior to exterior flawlessly. Compared with my experience dealing with the BLK360 G1 and this one. I prefer the Pro3 hands down.
