When they were rolling out their scanning services and told us original service partners that we would have a chance to be part of that, I never received any info. I contacted them numerous times and all I got was an autoresponder saying they are still working on the program. It's quite obvious that they want to eliminate us service providers altogether and just turn everyone into Matterport drones so that they can maximize their profits. Out of curiosity, are any of you folks part of their scanning services network? Do they even pay a decent rate for the scanning?

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update on this. I was finally able to get a hold of someone from sales over the phone and after a long discussion, Matterport suggested that we just keep our classic account and sign up for one of their new accounts as a second account. Frankly, I was thinking of doing that but wasn't sure they would allow it, so if anyone else is considering that option, it's possible!

So currently we went with the Business one that can have 125 active spaces and also ordered the Pro 3. Still waiting for that to ship (they told me 2-3 weeks). But from what I was told, you can actually upload scans to your new plan account and not get charged for processing and then transfer it to your Classic account if you want. Also, floor plans are a couple of bucks cheaper on the new plan. I will keep you guys posted!
