Hi,

how long on average does it take you to create a virtual tour of a house? excluding the time it takes to take the pictures.

thanks!

I have experience using Zillow 3D Home tours. After taking pics at the house and uploading the tour, I arrange the photos in a sensible order, check all the links to make sure they are pointing in the right direction, and check that there are backlink connections. For a house with three bedrooms and normal living area, that process takes me about 30 minutes.

I have shot a couple Matterport tours, a couple really big (150,000 square foot warehouse and a 7,500 square foot home) that took a LONG time to shoot. And another "regular" home, about 2,000 square feet. Once the model comes back from Matterport, I found there was less to "connect" than with the Zillow tour. If you add tags to the Matterport that can take time. But I think for a regular house, checking the tour and maybe trimming some of the model can be done in 20 minutes.

I am SURE there are others here with far more experience on both these platforms who could add a reply!
