We use eVoice – a cloud hosted PBX service.

What I like:

1. professionally recorded greetings for each mail box.
2. automatic transcription of a voicemail to email
3. nearly simultaneous ringing to dozens of Matterpeeps for our live 24/7 Matterport Emergency Support Service
4. fax (in/out) - surprisingly, we still have a need to send a fax occasionally

While we pay a fixed $38.89 monthly for 7 mailboxes, plus our variable expenses. I use an app on my iPhone to listen to voicemail (or click on the play button in an email I receive.

If you want to hear the professionally recording greetings and seeing how good the automatic transcription is, call We Get Around at 404.303.7311. My extension is 1 on the weekends (Atlanta time zone). Please repeat your email address twice and ask me to forward your transcribed voicemail back to you.

eVoice has a very good dashboard to manage a ton of features.

Plans start at $13 monthly with two extensions and 6 numbers.

I previously used Google Voice (free). I also looked at other options before deciding on eVoice about a year ago.
