| So I have a matterport shoot on Thursday and I'm planning on using my pro 2 on the interior but many have suggested I can switch to my theta Z1 to handle all the exterior yard to include that in a spectacular tour showcase. This is possible correct? Will the app know I turned off my pro 2 and turned on my Theta? Any workflow tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

| Yes it works well. Be careful to connect interiors and exteriors with Matterport before to switch to Z1 since misalignments may occur. | ||

| @GETMYVR I have done this in the past. Though with the current public build of Capture I would caution you to duplicate your model every 30 or 40 scan positions as a fail safe "Auto Save" I had a model unexpectedly quit on me a couple weeks back at the 100 scan position mark on the last room of a home & I lost the entire model. I am still waiting to hear what exactly went wrong This model I did last summer combining the Pro2 for the interior and the Z1 for the exterior. I overlapped several scan positions at the front and rear doorways to make the transitions between the 2 cameras then hid the unnecessary "extra" scan positions |
