Battery pack for Ricoh Theta Z112049

KevinJospeh private msg quote post Address this user
I saw an archived post about this subject and it was @lilnitsch's idea that I was intrigued by. Does anyone have a recommendation on a battery pack to use for the Ricoh Theta Z1 similar to the rig shown in this archived post?

I also realized that to do this, I may need a new tripod or maybe a light stand to raise the Z1 camera off the tripod head to be able to plug in the battery charger on the bottom on the camera.

Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

Don't fall for the Battery pack ad all over Youtube right now. Those guys want double of what @bryanhscott paid for his.

Get locking feet on the tripod so you can pick up the tripod and move around with an ankle weight to keep from blowing over. They also provide space to tuck your battery and not have issue in the nodial view.

Get an extra layer of protection with a bike power bank holder.

Expansion usually available at B&H

The Bushman 1/4" Spacer will also allow access to the USB C port with or without their neatly designed monopod.

@KevinJospeh Just visit your local Home Depot or Lowes and buy a short 1/4” x 20 all-thread, 1 connector nut (a 1/4” x 20 nut that is about 2” long for the tripod end), 2 regular 1/4” nuts and 2 lock washers to cinch both ends, especially on the camera end to avoid damage to it). This is done for about $6 bucks.
