This came up on my feed, but it's different than previous ads. This one was not only targeting realtors or real estate professionals.

I think they targeted those " looking to move " because some of the comments say they wish the homes they see had this. Also, people tag a realtor asking if they offer this.

Good move on MP. The masses will demand it.

Edit* I guess the title should have said general public rather than specially targeted to realtors.

I think it's a good strategy. We have said a lot here that the driving force will be the demand of sellers wanting a scan done for their property.

I must say that I think Matterport has had a shift in supporting people wanting to use their camera as a business a few months ago which is great to see.


People linking in their realtor is a great thing to spread word

Absolutely, the big investment of a camera, monthly fee, learning the workshop, for an average realtor is too much.
There will be demand for this by the home buyer and seller. Buyers don't want to be lied to with wide angle photos, or trying to stitch together the pictures of the home in their head.
