Successor to Matterport Pro3 Camera? Sdoughtie 25 10 daysMatterFix (595): The Blink is not competing in the virtual tour space so image quality is not paramount. I don’t think there’d be many buyers for a $32K camera to do virtual tours anyway, no matter how good the image quality was! The Blink is obviously aimed at the AEC & Design space….having an entry that can capture good quality 3D data and is fast and easy to use at a price point around $32K makes really good sense!
Matterport hosting fee vs. transferring the space JimmyJim 9 14 daysvrephoto (16): A starter plan is $10/mo and includes 5 spaces. I don't know why anyone would pay more than $10/mo to host 1 space when they could just get their own plan. I charge $10/month per space after the first 6 months, but I encourage them to get their own account for long term hosting. You can transfer spaces into a starter plan, but there may be limitations to transferring a space out of a starter plan.
