I love the iStar Pulsar.

The sample data that is shown has a massive red car in the nadir. That's not very good data.

The previous data from 2011 has the car completely removed from the Nadir and looks sharper.

The car mount is still in development. The camera will need to be elevated substantially to comply with Googles 135Degree Vertical field of view spec and not have the vehicle show.

@leonvanzwell

You probably already saw my video about NCTech iSTAR Pulsar frequently asked questions:

SPAR3D-Thinking about buying an NCTech iStar Pulsar?

The video includes a discussion on the car mount and backpack mount about pricing and availability.

The photo below is the NCTech iSTAR Pulsar mount prototype (that works with a car's rack mount). It is likely elevated to comply with Google's 135 degree vertical field of view spect.

@Metroplex360

I am surprised that NCTech would share an NCTech iStar Pulsar created Google Street View Tour that has such a large portion of the car in the nadir.

Best,

Dan
