Question about reselling a space.7032

AlexTC54 private msg quote post Address this user
In the service agreement templates from MP, it explains how we own the rights to the 3D services. The customer is only purchasing a license to use the service. Has anyone ever come across the need to resell the license to the same space? Such as a subsidiary/affiliate of the original customer also wanting to host the model on their site. So you do not have to reshoot the space. You simply provide them with codes/links to the model. If you have done this, how much do you typically charge? I understand these are very unique circumstances. However, I have happened to run into it quite frequently. Any guidance would help. Thanks in advance.

@Alextc54 This just happened to me a few weeks ago. A new agent came on board to a listing. New agent wanted the tour. Old agent called me to ask if the new agent could have it. I said "no, agents only purchase a license to use the tour for that particular listing and it is not transferable." New agent could use the tour only if they repurchased it from me. I turned the tour off. A few weeks later new agent called me and I turned it back on and billed a "tour transfer and hosting fee."

@AlexTC54 @srennick I try not to use the term hosting fee. I use the term licensing fee. It is more representative of the use.
