| We should be sending Matterport a 1099 form correct? Most of us spend over $600 on their hosting services a year. I'm not an accountant but seems like this is necessary correct? The due date to send is tomorrow FYI. | ||

| I'm from Canada and so different tax rules... but I'll give this a shot: You are not a Matterport employee and so they wouldn't have any tax forms to give to you. What is rather the case is that Matterport hosting is a business expense for you and so you just need to print off the monthly statements to send to your accountant to write those costs off. |

| Do you send your mobile carrier a 1099? That's what I thought. Next. If you worked as an independent contractor for Matterport and earned over $600, they would send you a 1099-MISC. |

| MP is a corporation, exempt from 1099. i am a corporation, but i get 1099s anyway because nobody knows that. i hate bookkeeping. | ||
